Service Description

Peer Assisted Recovery: *Individual 1 on 1 sessions *Recovery support resources *Positive Reinforcement *Access to 12 Step support groups *Education, career and employment services *Family and community support “Recovery is Your’s: What Does Your Recovery Look Like?”: The DEC philosophy in administering substance use disorder and/or co-occurring services is demonstrated through our evidenced based models, immediate necessary resources and services for long term recovery, holistic services that treat the entire person (Emotional, mental, physical and spiritual support) with emphasis on the individualized person-centered plan (PCP). These practices allow us to provide proficient treatment services. “There is No True Recovery Without Economic Recovery”: We also understand that there is no true recovery without economic recovery. Our Partnership Accredited entrepreneurship training (articles of organization and EIN awarded upon completion) and business education programs (TAP Detroit/Business In a Bag, SBIRT Power, DEG Total Business, etc.), allows the individual to employ today’s technology to build and create their own Post Pandemic, Covid Convenient economic futures while employing their peers. This in turn reduces the Underemployment, Criminal Recidivism, and Substance use Rates within our community. Additionally, we believe that through Education, Prevention, Treatment & Recovery, Housing & Home Ownership, Employment & Entrepreneurship, Art & STEM, Business Education, and Community Participation, we will positively affect every individual in the recovery community as a whole. The treatment and therapies offered are as follows: “Recovery Is Yours” Group Meetings 90 minutes 2x per week Individual Sessions (face to face) 60 minutes 1x per week Crisis Intervention 30 minutes (as needed) Anger Management 30 minutes (as needed) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Recovery Coaching Relapse Prevention
